Step one: Fake a natural smile
Have a hard time smiling on command? Actress Shenae Grimes of ‘90210′ fame says pretending to laugh does the trick. “If you kind of go ‘ha ha,’ explains Grimes, ‘it definitely helps look much more natural.

Step two: Know your good side and face the camera from that direction.
“It sounds weird but everyone has a better side on their face,” says former star of ‘The Hills,’ Lauren Conrad.

Step three: Don’t let the camera add those infamous ten pounds by positioning yourself straight on.
Actress AnnaLynne McCord explains: “The whole little like ‘leg in front of leg’… keeping the nice lines is very important.”

Step four: Have confidence!
Fake it until you make it! Believe you look great and then you probably will.

“It’s just about being confident and kind of being out there and showing, ‘This is me. Here I am,” says actress Jessica Stroup.

The shenanigans were for a good cause, as the event benefited the Provide Laughter For Youth (P.L.A.Y.) charity.

AnnaLynne, 21, was decked out in a black and white floral print strapless top with black jeans and red boots, while Shenae, 19, wore a plaid jacket over a black shirt.McCord and Grimes teamed upwith their 90210 castmates—both new and old—two weeks back for the Party at the Peach Pit soiree, where stars of the hit series signed autographs for fans.

While there, AnnaLynne denied she is in a relationship with Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz, despite reports of them pairing up in Miami earlier this month.

Well, McCord is not only hot, she’s passionate for a cause. And that’s why the producers immediately thought of her when casting Fired Up.

While counting down to “90210″ returning on screen on Tuesday, January 6, The CW have released two featurettes from the teen drama series. One clip is entitled “Things” where each of the cast opens up about what they think of his or her cast mate and the other one is labeled “Guitar”, a tribute from the cast to the famous soundtrack.

In “castmates talk castamates”, the show’s stars like Tristan Wilds, Shenae Grimes, Jessica Lowndes and Jessica Stroup give testimony as well as some secrets about their co-stars. Dustin Miligan is said to be “the first in the make-up trailer”, AnnaLynne McCord is dubbed “unpredictable” while Tristan is said to have an amazing voice but too shy about it.

In the meantime “Guitar” brings out the goofiness out of the cast who imitate the melody of its soundtrack.

“90210″ continues its first season on January 6 with an episode called “Hello, Goodbye, Amen”. Jason Priestley directs this episode which will focus on the revelation of Sean’s true identity and the pregnancy of one of the students.

When Debbie (Lori Loughlin), Harry (Rob Estes), Annie (Shenae Grimes), Dixon (Tristan Wilds) and Sean (guest star Josh Henderson) spend the evening playing games, Annie overhears a phone call with Sean that raises suspicion. Adrianna (Jessica Lowndes) invites Brenda (Shannen Doherty) to attend a support day at her rehab center, but the day quickly turns upside down when Adrianna learns information that will cause her life to change forever. Brenda and Kelly (Jennie Garth) stand by Adrianna’s side and Brenda reveals a secret she has been hiding from Kelly. Dixon and Christina’s (guest star Lauren London) friendship continues to grow when she invites him over to her house, an invitation he hides from Silver (Jessica Stroup). Dustin Milligan, Ryan Eggold, AnnaLynne McCord, Michael Steger and Jessica Walter also star. Stuart Gillard directed the episode written by Jennifer Cecil.

Enjoying a relaxing getaway north of the border, Shenae Grimes was spotted making her way around Toronto, Canada on Monday afternoon (December 1).

The “90210” starlet stopped into Starbucks by the CTV building and grabbed up a coffee drink while sharing a laugh with a gal pal on what was a damp winter day.

Meanwhile, Grimes recently continued to defend her statement that she’s not the monster that she’s painted to be.

She recently told press, “Nobody has asked me about it. I really can’t help what someone thinks of me because they are reading a paper and choosing to believe it.”
