At the start of the month, stories began to circulate that Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s daughter Rumer Willis would be joining the 90210 camp as a guest star.

And now Toronto-born beauty Shenae Grimes, who plays girl next door Annie Wilson in the show, has confirmed the good news.

“Rumer Willis is joining us for a little while. I’m not sure for how long, but we are very excited,” the 19-year-old actress tells People.

There’s still no confirmation on the exact details of Rumer’s storyline. But it’s been reported she’ll play a lesbian named Gia who will work on the West Beverly High School newspaper along with Navid, portrayed by Michael Steger, Adrianna – played by Jessica Lowdes – and Silver – aka Jessica Stroup.

And the arrival of a new face could be timely for Shenae’s character, who might be in need of some new friends when series two kicks off in September.

“That’s kind of a big twist this year. I’ll start out on a different foot then I did last year. I’m not part of the gang for a little while and you’ll see why,” says Shenae.
